Breakfast at Tiffany's

So I was very excited today to see Peter Alexander's latest gorgeous collection is inspired by one of my favourite classic movies....Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love when Peter does these themed collections inspired by movies or celebrities and this one is one I will have to check out!

This little set is definitely on my wish list! I love the cute little collar and the pink of course!

How adorable is the eye mask! This is one of my favourite parts of the movie where she is wearing this mask so I think I'm going to have to pick up one of these!

This look is so sexy and so old Hollywood glam! I'm obsessed with this robe!

This oversized sleep tee looks so comfy! Love the house slippers as well! Perfects the look!

Peter, you have done it again!

Golden Globes- best and worst!

Well it's that time of year again! Red carpet season! One of my guilty pleasures is sitting down with a glass of wine with my mum and picking our favourites! This year was no exception and I have to admit there was some gorgeous looks! Here are my picks!

HITS

Seeing green: Pregnant Olivia Wilde dressed her baby bump in a forest green long-sleeved sequin gown and matching satin pumps (left), and Helen Mirren went for a similar look in sea foam green and sparkled (right)

Oliva Wilde- what a sexy pregnancy look! It is no secret I am loving the glittery look right now and this emerald green just bring outs her eyes! Love it!

Seeing green: Pregnant Olivia Wilde dressed her baby bump in a forest green long-sleeved sequin gown and matching satin pumps (left), and Helen Mirren went for a similar look in sea foam green and sparkled (right)

Helen Mirren- this woman is all class! She never fails to look incredible and definitely gives the younger girls a run for their money! The fabric of this dress is stunning and this colour looks so pretty on her!

Time to shine: Amber Heard (left) turned heads in a navy blue Versace and hair-raising bouffant, and Kate Beckinsale (right) was ravishing in strapless silver

Kate Beckinsale- She very rarely gets it wrong! This dress is so pretty and just makes her body look incredible! Love it!!

Lady in red: Nominated Lupita Nyong'o sported a sleeveless red Ralph Lauren gown, complete with cape detail

Lupita Nyong'o- This is one of my favourite looks of the night! The colour looks so good on her and her skin is absolutely flawless! She is one super beautiful girl! Love the cape, like a sexy red riding hood!

A colourful sight: Drew arrived with husband Will Kopelman, rubbing her baby bump in the colourful Monique Lhuillier gown

Drew Barrymore- How can you not love Drew? She always looks so bright and happy and this dress just so suits her personality! It can't be easy dressing for a big bump but I think she has done well! Really pretty!

Voluminous: Sofia Vergara sported a Zac Posen gown with very full skirt teamed with a chunky turquoise necklace

Sofia Vergara- hands down my favourite look of the night! She just oozes sex appeal and this dress is so old Hollywood glam! I love it! The necklace is super pretty as well and I am very jealous of her hair!

Pink lady: Maria Menounos sported a bright fuschia

Maria Menounos- another favourite of the night! I'm obsessed with this colour and the cutouts look really sexy on her without looking trashy. Love the ponytail as well!

Beaded beauty: Downton star Michelle Dockery wore a strapless silver gown with a lift on the hemline at the front

Michelle Dockery- the fabric of this dress is so so pretty and this style looks so cute on her!

MISSES

A rainbow of dresses: Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Amber Heard and Sandra Bullock were the leading brights on the red carpet at the Golden Globes Awards at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday night

Reese Witherspoon- I love Reese and usually thinks she looks great on the red carpet but this dress is so boring and looks more suited for a beach bbq than the Golden Globes!

Dazzling in Dior: Jennifer Lawrence sported a strapless white gown with black band detail and diamond jewellery

Jennifer Lawrence- Everyone is hating on this look right now, and while I don't think it is as bad as everyone is making out I have to admit the first thing I thought about was Ariel from The Little Mermaid and her dress made out of a sail. The second strapping around her butt is just wrong and looks like she did it at home. Her makeup is way too harsh as well.

Three tones of colour: Sandra looked beautiful in the unusual striped creation teamed with black open toed shoes

Sandra Bullock- I cannot believe that I am putting on my worst dressed! Normally she looks so perfect and lately I think she has been looking better than ever but this dress just wasn't right! Does nothing for her figure and isn't Golden Globes worthy!

Unusual choice: Julia Roberts appeared to be sporting a white short underneath a strapless black gown and glittering belt

Julia Roberts- Julia is so super gorgeous and her smile could almost make up for anything...but this dress. It looks like a pretty gown put on over a man's shirt. Like she left the shirt on by mistake. She could have looked sooo much better!

Red alert! Emma Watson wore a unconventional red Christian Dior gown with a pair of black leggings to protect her modesty

Emma Watson- I get that she is trying to do something different and make a statement but I think this 'dressing gown dress' just looks silly. The Globes should be all about glamour and beautiful gowns not trying too hard.

Unique: Zoe Saldana sported an unusual black and white clashing patterned Prabal Gurung dress with pink heels

Zoe Saldana- Another one I can't believe is one the worst dressed for me! She usually looks so perfect but this dress just looks a mess! Parts of it are pretty and at first when I just saw the top I thought it could be nice, but then the camera panned down. Not a good choice for her.

Thanks to my glam squad! Heidi Klum paid tribute to her team of stylists via Twitter ahead of the show

Heidi Klum- I actually think Heidi looks terrible here! Her makeup looks really bad and usually she looks so glowing and beautiful. The dress is kind of all over the place as well and the necklace just screams 90s!

Over the top: Paula Patton wore a Stephane Rolland dress with ruffled shoulders

Paula Patton- Maybe it is just her cringeworthy poses that put me off, but this dress is just really ugly. Hate to say it but it reminds me of the 'lady parts' dress that Kim K wore not that long ago! Looks like she threw a coat of her shoulder and it stuck there. Would have looked soo much better without the ruffle!

Mellow yellow: Lena highlighted her hourglass figure in the fitted gown

Lena Dunham- Just all wrong. The dress does absolutely nothing for her...it doesn't fit her properly and the colour does not suit her skintone. Her makeup is terrible and her hair looks like she has just slept in it.

So there you go guys! I'll put my claws back in now :-) Looking forward to all the other awards shows coming up in the next few weeks!

Fitspo Friday: Queen B

With everyone getting onto their health kicks in January after indulging a little too much around Christmas time, I too have been overhauling my diet and exercise routine. In the past I have gone a bit too extreme with my dieting so I'm always really careful to still enjoy my food and to have healthy women as my fitspiration instead of girls who are just obsessed with thigh gaps and seeing the lowest number on the scale. My ultimate fitspo at the moment would have to be Beyoncé! She is one sexy mama and while really toned and fit she still has incredible curves and is proud of them! So here is my Queen B fitspo for today to get me in a healthy frame of mind for the weekend! Bring on those squats! Her body is out of control!

Sparkle Fever

Anyone that knows me knows I am a little obsessed with glitter and everything shiny. I've been loving that around Christmas and New Year there have been heaps of sparkles when it comes to fashion and I even wore a completely blinged out dress to my engagement party in December!
Here are some of the sparkly looks I'm loving and a few of the pieces I've tried out myself!

Miss Miley looked incredible in this green sequin dress! Nice to see her covered!

And our own Aussie Sonia Kruger (who pretty much looked incredible all through 2013- her wardrobe was part of my reason for watching Big Brother) looked so amazing in her dark sequin dress at the Logies!

I wanted something really special for my engagement party, so I immediately thought of sequins! I was originally going to wear white (being a bride to be and all) so went on the hunt for something in silver sequin. I took a gamble and bought my dress from Missguided, an online store based in the UK and I absolutely loved it and felt so special on the day! I was pretty much a human disco ball.

And I have continued the trend on into 2014 by wearing a sequin maxi skirt for Ben's birthday dinner on Saturday night. I felt like a sparkly mermaid in this skirt from Dragonberry Boutiques.

January Must-See Movies

So many great movies come out just after Christmas! This January I was really excited to see Frozen and Saving Mr Banks (self-confessed Disney addict) which definitely top my list of must-sees but I also had the chance to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty which really surprised me and takes the number three spot for January movies.

FROZEN:
I had high hopes for the latest Disney Princess movie and I really wasn't disappointed! I've always loved the story of the Snow Queen but really didn't know what to expect other than seeing the cute trailer with Olaf the snowman and Sven the reindeer.
The movie had all the recipes to a perfectly packaged Disney movie...princesses, a curse, a mystery, beautiful songs and funny sidekicks but the element I loved the most about the movie was that it wasn't your typical boy meets girl love that was the focus of the film but the love between two sisters and family. Really beautiful! I was lucky enough to snag myself a novelty Frozen cup from Event Cinemas as well. I was literally walking towards the candy bar with my fiancée saying 'please let there be a frozen cup, please let there be a frozen cup'. I guess wishes and Disney movies go together hehe. Overall I highly recommend this movie to anyone that has fallen in love with fairytales and Disney like I have. Kids will love it as well and the story keeps you interested from beginning to end! I'm excited to see what merchandise comes out with this film and I've heard the dvd is to be released in March. I'm actually really looking forward to watching again!

SAVING MR BANKS:
How cute is the movie poster for this! This movie really warmed my heart! Everything about it was perfection and I found myself laughing, crying and smiling throughout the film. I love that it is a true story and one that hasn't really been told before and Tom Hanks as Walt Disney was amazing! I have always been so interested in Walt and I felt that this movie gave us a peek into who he was and just how much he adored his movies and the magic they brought to households all over the world. Mary Poppins is one of my favourite childhood movies and I don't think I will ever watch it in the same way after this movie- I will love it even more! Emma Thompson played the role of P L Travers perfectly, another actress could have made her role quite unlikable and while she was a very difficult woman Emma made her rudeness and perfectness almost endearing, especially when you knew that it was just because she loved her characters so much. Not really a children's movie but really a movie for adults of any age! Ben, my fiancée, and I took our mothers to a premiere screening of this and we all came out saying it was one of the best films we had seen in a long time. The best moment for me was when they sang Let's Go Fly a Kite. Beautiful! Yet another one I want to watch again and it has inspired me to buy a book online about P.L Travers' life.

SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY:
Well this one was so much more than I expected! I was thinking it would be just another funny sort of Ben Stiller movie but it turned out to be such an inspirational, interesting and beautiful movie. Yes it had some very funny parts...one in particular a recreation of Benjamin Button which had my own Ben (who ages completely normally) and I laughing hysterically in our seats, but it was such a great tale of a man who takes a chance in life and ultimately becomes a person he had only ever dreamed of being. Beautiful locations and a story that keeps you gripped until the end. Made me want to get out there and explore the world! Really impressed that Ben Stiller directed this as well, and he really showed another side of himself as an actor in this movie. Go see it!

Welcome!

So I have decided to start a blog for all things cute, delicious and wonderful! I often get told I am always the first to find new products and try new things so I thought I would share it all with the world! This blog will be a little bit of everything I love! Shopping, fashion, beauty, food, movies and TV. I am a Brisbane girl so mostly my posts will be relevant to Australian girls but I do a bit of travel and shopping online so there will be something for everyone. I can't wait to start this! New year, new project!

Love Steph Bunny xo
